Store Your Information project

This week in the class I and my colleague Mona who is working on Functional specification like me started designing the website layout using Visio and at the end of the class we showed Mr. Tridib our work and he discussed the work with us but he was dissatisfied with the designing because he said that we have to be more specific in designing the web site and we have to check with the our group member who is working with PHP and check if they will able to make. The project is very difficult.

This week our teacher explained to us in the class in details about store your information project and about XAMPP program why and how to use it .He also meet with each group and explained to them about their parts and what is required from each of them to do. The class was useful for everyone because we understood what we have to do. My part in the project is about functional specification and I think I understand what is about but I didn’t know how to begin but now it’s more clear for me.

Store Your Information project week 9

This week I did researches to know more about XAMPP, MYSQL and PHP and I found some websites provide step-by-step tutorial explaining the process to create database in XAMPP. I created a test database by following one of this tutorials but I did not recognize what I am doing. I will do more researche and share the information with my group members.
